Recruitment position

Role Description
The ICRC delegation in China maintains a dialogue with the relevant Chinese authorities on health, including health in penitentiary system through co-organizing seminars, study tours abroad, workshops and trainings that focus on general health topics, and particularly on the management of TB and HIV/AIDS. This position will provide programmatic, organizational and administrative support to the implementation of the delegation's health related activities, including health care in detention.

Main Duties ＆ Responsibilities
Assist relevant delegates (Detention Doctor, Health Coordinator) to design, implement and monitor operational activities related to the delegation's health and detention related programs. Participate actively in the elaboration of the planning for results (PfR) and budget.
Assume the responsibility of the adequate planning and follow-up on related activities.
Maintain direct contact and contribute in discussions/negotiations with health and detention authorities and other external interlocutors at various level.
In charge of several institutional written reporting.
Provide ad hoc reporting/ research on health and detention related issues.
Centralize information and filing of relevant ICRC activities related.

University degree or equivalent (Health related)
3-5 years' work experience in a similar field
Fluent in written and spoken English
Team work skills
Good communication skills
Good analytical skills
Excellent computer skills
